David J. Harding

David is founder/ owner of The Harding Method, a CIO advisory consultancy and Professor of Management Practice at the University of Bedfordshire.

He advises business leaders on all aspects of leadership effectiveness throughout transformation and Chief Information Officers (CIOs) on how they can learn to become more effective in their current roles and build their capabilities to meet their long term career aspirations.

David combines over 25 years of technology enabled business transformation consultancy experience with leading edge research to apply new, unique leadership development frameworks that help CIOs and their stakeholders become effective in digitally maturing environments.

He is an accredited programme manager with a Master’s Degree in Engineering and Transformational Change. He holds Royal Charters with the Institute of Engineering & Technology (CEng) and the British Computer Society (CITP). He is a high-risk programme assurance reviewer for HM Government, a Fellow of the CMI, a trained executive mentor and coach, and having completed extensive research into the field of digital leadership effectiveness, he holds a PhD from Cranfield University in the UK
